I'm a complan girl!

Today when I was discussing a point with Alyque, he suggested that I have a look at his book in which he explained the success of Liril.
His take is simple. No matter where the consumer is or who the consumer is: be it a middle aged middle class town bhenji or an upmarket babe, their lifestyles differ but their dreams remain the same.
So, his suggestion was, my dear friend, to show the city babe's glamour to wow the small town girl.
I am reading his book - a double life right now that that has inspired me to no end!

Today is the day when I start blogging about whatever I learn about marketing or CPG (consumer packaged goods) or, better known as FMCG, in India.
I have duly completed my PGP from IIM Lucknow in marketing and have been working in brand teams for quite some time but have not as yet started appreciating the true meaning of my trade.
